The Abyssinian Apostolic Church under the direction of the Patriarch and the Office of Vocations serves the Church by determining the methods to nurture an ethos of divinely called, spiritually grounded and theologically trained men and women to serve the Messiah and His people in priestly offices.
With cooperation from the parishes, schools, dioceses, and archdiocese the Office of Vocations seeks the following:
- Seek to reach out to men and women within the church by inspiration and by challenge to discover and determine if there is a divine calling.
- We will mentor men and women through events, and various programs which will hopefully answer the consequent questions and conflicts that can arise from answering God’s call to ministry.
Encourage the people to earnestly pray for the deacons, priests, bishops, and archbishops in answering their individual to ministry.
“37Then He said to His taught ones, “The harvest truly is great, but the workers are few. 38“Pray then that the Master of the harvest would send out workers to His harvest.”
